nuun along the mighty mississippi for Bix 7 expo

I am finally sitting down in my sweet hotel room looking out my 8th floor window at the mighty Mississippi.
I am in Bettendorf Iowa which is one of the Quad cites.  The Bix 7 national championship 7 mile race is on saturday and I am working the nuun booth.

I have been here before with Jaymon years ago for MMA fights he had here.  My super sexy hubby is an pro MMA fighter and he also trains fighters as well.  Anyhoo, I had to get a shot of myself in all my retro shaded sweaty heat advised glory outside my hotel!

The new van is a dream!  It fit all I needed, has a great sound system that I listened to a Summer mixed CD that an old friend from highschool sent me. Thanks again Kid :)  I also listened to The Dresden Files which made the three hour drive seem not long enough indeed!

We had access to the loading docks for the expo center and the large carts. So far this expo has been very well run and we have been taken good care of by the event coordinator

You can't see his face but the dude in the yellow Livestrong hat is Devin. He is a total John Heder lookalike and a super nice guy he runs track collegiately.  He was saying he has had really great last 2 weeks with over a hundred miles in!!  More photos tomorrow for sure.
On the docket for tomorrow, sell lots of nuun and stalk Ryan Hall.  He is here and will be running the race saturday. Hopefully I will get to sneak away and get a photo.  No I am not above waiting in line to have my pic taken with him! Wish me luck.
Also, I want to get up early enough to run along the river.  There is a running and biking path right outside my hotel and right along the river. Even if its only for a few miles.
