Today is the day! The release of the long awaited Barefoot line by Merrell.
I have had a small part in it all being a tester and writing a bit for their blog and it has been interesting watching how the shoe industry has changed to accommodate a more minimal approach. I look forward to watching what the next year will bring.
I have enjoyed wearing the "One Finger" shoe that incorporates many of the desired elements that a barefoot runner would look for in a shoe to aid in their running.
They have done a fine job at embracing the educational aspect of learning to run barefoot so go check out their site!!
Here is a link to my review of the Merrell Barefoot Pace and Trail Gloves

Ohhh, I love the looks of these shoes! Gotta wait for my NB 100's to wear out so I can justify buying them though. Acacia is my favorite but the lavender lustre is pretty sweet too. Thanks for the review..it helped me decide that I HAVE to have these. : )
Tried to order the Pace Glove last night. Can't get in Canada yet, even ordering online. Any idea when they will be available up north? Hopefully before winter is over. I need those toe treads in the heavy snow and slush!

I couldn't wait for my old shoes to wear out. I tried but just couldn't do it! Ordered my pace gloves just now and am hoping for fast shipping!
Thanks for the link. As someone just getting into barefoot running I found the tutorial very informative!
"trail glove"....I'm a little in love already

It looks like our personal bio pages are still in the works, but how sweet is that?! :)
almost as sweet as those merrell shoes... i just heard you say.

I have the men's trail glove on my feet right now. They are very comfortable for day-to-day wear, especially in the heel where they don't compress the achilles tendon.
