Bee a Yes Person!

I have been thinking lately about how I am inclined to say "no" to opportunities that come up unexpectedly.  I get nervous and sometimes downright scared and I say "no" as a sort of knee jerk reaction.  This is something I am working to change about myself.

I want to be a Yes Person.  I want to think of myself as one and I want others to think that of me too.  Saying "yes" gives you time.  Saying "no" is a dead end.  Its final and if you change your mind, that says something about you too. So changing your mind is ok once in a while but I want to be the kind of person that is bold and brave and takes advantage of those unexpected opportunities in life.  I want to be a person who is not controlled by fear.  I've had enough of fear!

Are you a Yes Person?  Do you have to work at it?  What was something that you said "yes" to recently that was scary in some way?   I would love to hear from you!

  1. It is hard to say "yes" all the time and get out of our comfort zones. I want to say yes more and I have found that when I do I have more memorable experiences. Nobody remembers the times when they said "no", but they do remember the experiences from a "yes".
